Diagnosis first
Compression and leak-down testing, scan-tool data and a physical inspection so you know whether the engine needs a repair, a rebuild or a replacement before anyone spends money.
Rebuilding engines is what our shop is named after. Teardown, machine work, assembly and installation all happen at our shop in South Los Angeles — we don't farm the job out and hand you someone else's invoice.

The engine comes out and apart in our shop. We measure the block, crank, rods and head and show you what failed and what is reusable.
Head and block machining, new gaskets, bearings, seals, rings and timing components. We use name-brand parts like Melling and Mahle, which we stock on site.
The engine is assembled to spec, installed, filled with fresh fluids, run up to temperature and road tested before we hand back the keys.
Not every knock or smoke cloud means a rebuild. Sometimes a head gasket, a timing job or a used engine from our own parts inventory is the cheaper, faster answer. We tell you what we find, quote the options side by side, and let you decide. Turnaround depends on machine work and parts availability for your engine — call and we'll give you a realistic estimate for your vehicle.
